Our Curriculum

The ELC provides the foundations for children to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow. The program at the ELC is based on the international Preschool Curriculum (IPC) as its only guide for students from 6 weeks to 3 years old. After that age, and for students from 3 years and 6 years we will adopt the states common core curriculum along the IPC so we will prepare the students for the first year in the elementary level before they leave the ELC. To meet the needs of our students, we are concerned to provide a program from 6 weeks - 6 years old children’s physical, social, emotional, aesthetics and intellectual development of the individual child, with no one area standing in isolation from the others.

A special program for children of 3 months to 1 year (based on the sensory program) is also offered. Our daily routine provides fun activities, based on thematic units that are specifically designed around the IPC. Each learning area in the program fosters the student’s different interests in a supportive and caring manner.

Arabic and Islamic are given starting from Pre-Kg. We are keen to offer third language also. French language is given as the third language for all the children and parents have the chance to choose Russian as an additional fourth language.

The ELCs recognizes that children’s capabilities, home backgrounds and cultures differ. In this age group, learning is primarily through play. The ELC program is based upon planned structured and unstructured play experiences that enhance students’ development and stimulate their curious minds.
